Congratulations, you’ve managed to make it to Blue Plate Diner after a, let’s say, long night. Probably the best decision you’ll manage to make all day with the rest of the 11 a.m. hangover crowd. Breakfast is the winner here, where they serve up delicious buttermilk biscuits with country gravy, chicken fried steak, corned beef and hash and more. The menu also includes options like the vegan tofu breakfast burrito; spinach, mushroom and avocado omelet; and even vegan pancakes.

Walk into this neighborhood diner and you’ll feel as if you’re walking back in time. Old-school lunchboxes holding condiments grace the linoleum tables, knick-knacks and awards hang on every wall and a jukebox sits in the corner (but is drowned out by the large breakfast crowd).

Everyone casually blends in together, whether you just rolled out of bed and barely brushed your teeth or are in your Sunday best. Oh, and be sure to find Waldo when you’re there (good luck looking with those bloodshot eyes).
