“Parks are awesome,” Call said. “I think they are just a good way to get out of the house and be recreational.”

With fall in full swing, the leaves have begun to change, and some students are making it a priority to see it outside of campus.

Elaine Sheehan, 19-year-old sophomore double majoring in English and Spanish, said she enjoys going outside with friends, especially in fall.

“I’ve been [at Fairmont Park] four or five times with friends,” she said. “I love it when the leaves start to change.”

Sheehan had a few words of advice to those who have not been able to go to a park this season: “Go out and enjoy fall while it lasts, before we can’t go outside because of stupid snow.”
