Westminster updates Spring schedule: Semester begins late, Spring Break cut short

Westminster College updated its Spring schedule, beginning the semester a day later and implementing a two-day Spring Break.

The semester will begin late on Thursday, Jan. 14. The school will then conduct the first round of Monday classes the next day on Friday, Jan. 15 — making up for the Martin Luther King holiday the following weekend.

The changes come in response to feedback from the campus community regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Registrar’s Office.

Westminster will still schedule a Spring Break, limiting it to just two days over March 11-12. The last day of the semester will be held April 30.

Commencement will continue as scheduled May 8.
